Call to Arms will once again be held at St. Patricks College at 581 Evans Bay Parade, Kilbirnie, in Wellington. Gamers are expected to arrive no later than 8:30am on Saturday and Sunday as the rounds for each competition or event are scheduled to start at 9.00am prompt. Players registering before 15 July 2010 will save as registration will be $40, otherwise registration will be $55. Junior players (under the age of 18) will be able to enter an event or participate for just $10.
The main events happening are:
Warhammer Fantasy – Warhammer Fantasy is going to be one of the first New Zealand tournaments to be using the new Warhammer 8th Editions Rules Set released this year.
Warhammer 40,000 – Warhammer 40K will be a 1750-point, five round, event promising a solid mix of competitive play, interesting missions and enjoyable gaming environment to ensure you get the most out of your gaming weekend.
DBMM (Ancients/Medieval) – using latest DBMM v2.0 rules (15mm or 28mm unspecified).
Fields of Glory (Ancients/Medieval) – Field of Glory will be run as a themed, 600-point, five round, event with pre-set terrain; the theme is “Christianity’s First Millenium”. (15mm or 28mm unspecified).
Warmachine – Competition will include the latest Steamroller rules.
Flames of War – Flames of War will be run as a “100% Pure Mid-War” competition, with classic 1500-point armies enabling the best of competitive play and gamer enjoyment. Five games will be played over the weekend.
Lasalle (28mm Napoleonic) – It will be using the core army lists from the book or Honour web site with one support choice. There will be four games over the weekend.
